Michelle Olufeso-Nwokobia is a specialist IFRS adviser with over 25 years of experience in corporate finance across pharmaceuticals, financial services, telecoms, and oil and gas. She is the Founder of MIO Consult GmbH, an accounting consultancy specialising in IFRS advisory and training for licensing deals in the healthcare sector.

Michelle played a pivotal role in international accounting standard-setting, contributing to the development of IFRS 15 as it relates to the pharmaceutical industry via education sessions with the IASB as part of PwC's Pharma Forum, London — in her capacity as a Roche representative. She represented Roche at Business Europe, Brussels and Swiss Holdings, Bern, and liaised with EFRAG on pharmaceutical industry accounting matters.

Prior to founding MIO Consult, Michelle held senior positions at Roche AG in Basel — including Head of Accounting & External Relations and Global Alliances Accounting Expert — as well as roles at Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers Europe, and MCI WorldCom GmbH.
